A litmus test for Avasarala Srinivas’ 6-year dream

Avasarala Srinivas awaits the release of ‘101 Jillala Andagadu’ on September 3. The actor has written the story himself. To be sure, it was written by him in the early 2010s, while producers Krish Jagarlamudi and Rajeev Reddy were given the first narration in 2015.

It has taken six years for the film to be finally come out in theatres. Although the Krish-Reddy duo liked the story while making ‘Kanche’, they couldn’t spend time on Avasarala’s project for more than 4 years. The film is about how a balding youngster is trapped by the insecurities about his looks. He falls in love with a beautiful lady (Ruhani Sharma) and struggles to put up a facade.

Backed by Dil Raju, the film is a litmus test for Avasarala Srinivas. Directed by Vidyasagar Rachakonda, it is touted to be a comedy entertainer.
