A PIL filed against the AP government over the rise of Covid cases

A public interest litigation(PIL) has been filed in the High Court over the increase in Covid cases in the AP and the steps being taken by the government. The All India Lawyers Union filed the petition.

The Lawyers’ Union mentioned in the petition about the rising cases in AP, the steps to be taken to control, vaccination for all, and the regulation of Covid medicines’ price. Petitioners allege that beds were not available for corona patients. They also mentioned in the petition about Remdevisir sale on the black market.  

The All India Lawyers Union has demanded that the state government be directed to take appropriate measures to control Covid.

On the other hand, TDP Leader Nara Lokesh has written a letter to AP CM YS Jagan stating to cancel tenth class examinations and pass the students. The tenth class exams will start in three weeks. He requested AP CM to think humanely and cancel the 10th exams and pass the students.
