‘Aakashavaani’ director says Rajamouli influenced him

‘Aakashavaani’, a period drama, has been waiting to hit the cinemas for about a year. Recently, the makers clarified that it will release only in theatres. In his latest interview, debutant filmmaker Ashwin Gangaraju has said that his seven-year-long association with SS Rajamouli has influenced him a lot. He had assisted Rajamouli on ‘Eega’ and the ‘Baahubali’ films.

Referring to the movie’s teaser, Gangaraju added that the grandeur in the emotions of the story is reflected in the visuals. Headlined by ‘Krack’ and ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ actor Samuthirakani, the film was shot in Paderu village near Araku in Andhra Pradesh.

Also featuring Vinay Varma, Teja Kakumanu, Mime Madhu, and others, it has a child artist at its centre. Its music has been composed by Kaala Bhairava.
