Aamir Khan’s big-ticket film resumes shoot in 2nd wave

‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ has become one of the major Indian movies to resume shoot in India during the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. The Aamir Khan-starrer today went on the floors in Mumbai, where the test positivity rate has drastically come down in the last few weeks.

Bollywood is resuming work slowly and surely. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is taking ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, starring Alia Bhatt, to the floors later this week. Hundreds of cine workers have already been vaccinated. Like the Hindi film industry, Telugu cinema, too, is slowly getting back on track. Nithin’s ‘Maestro’ is on the floors.

‘Khiladi’ and a film starring Naga Chaitanya will go on the floors from next week. Big-ticket ‘Salaar’, ‘Radhe Shyam’ and ‘Acharya’, among others, will hit the floors in July.
Coming to ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, which will likely hit the cinemas next year, the Forrest Gump-inspired movie is being directed by Advait Chandan.
