After Shubhman Gill, these two key players are ruled out of the England Test series

Ahead of the England Test series to commence, several Indian players who played a key role in the earlier Test series’ have been ruled out. Young opener Shubhman Gill played a strong role in the previous series has been out of the England test series due to injury.

Now, two more players Washington Sundar and Avesh Khan are ruled out of the series due to finger injuries. Washington Sundar has played match-winning knocks in the Australia series followed by the England team’s India tour.

In place of him, KL Rahul will get an opportunity to play in the final eleven of the England Test series. Already, KL Rahul has sent a strong signal to the team management that he is back in form with a brilliant ton in the practice match against County XI.  Ravindra Jadeja also made half-century.

In this practice match, Mohammad Siraj, Rahul, and Jadeja have shined, which is a pretty good sign for team India. On the other hand, Virat is toiling hard at nets and he will be ready to play the Intrasquad match on 28th July.

Dashing wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant has recovered fully from Covid-19 and joined the team. Hard luck to young avesh khan who has to wait for some more time to debut for the team India. He was ruled out of the series due to a finger injury.

The first test match between India and England will start on 4th August that will be telecasted live on Sony Six, Sony Ten 3 and Sony Ten 4.
