In India, there are very few states that are still reporting more Covid cases when compared to others. It was a known fact that Maharashtra and Karnataka were the hotspots of Covid, especially during the second wave.
In Karnataka, strict restrictions have been imposed in some territories whereas in other restrictions have been eased. In Karnataka, two delta plus variant cases were found and the state health department had said that they were setting up labs for genome sequencing.
The Karnataka government has given some guidelines to travel into their state. It has made it mandatory to either have a negative RT PCR certificate not older than 72 hours or a vaccination certificate of at least one dose of Covid jab for those who are travelling to Karnataka by flight, bus, train, taxi etc., from other states.
So, without having any one of the above said, it is difficult to travel to Karnataka.
