Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s visit to Delhi continues for the second day. AP CM YS Jagan has met Union Minister for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Steel Dharmendra Pradhan. He discussed the Kakinada Petro Complex and Visakhapatnam Steel Plant issues.
AP CM has once again suggested alternatives to the Union Minister concerning the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. He requested to expedite the process of setting up a petrochemical complex at Kakinada SEZ. He also wants to decline the burden of viability gap funding on the state. The Union Minister who has assured to set up Petro complex in Andhra has responded positively to viability gap funding.
The Central minister also told the AP CM that he would arrange a meeting with the AP chief secretary and secretaries of the petroleum department next week to finalize the modalities. The meeting between the CM and the Union Minister lasted for over an hour.
Yesterday, Jagan met Union Minister Prakash Javadekar. Later, he had a meeting with Union Water of Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. The Chief Minister asked Union Home Minister Amit Shah to co-operate for the development of the state and decentralization of capital. Chief Minister Jagan, who reached Amit Shah’s residence at 9.03 PM last night, met Amit Shah for about 90 minutes.
