Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has released incentives of Rs 1,124 crore to the MSME, spinning and textile industries.The event was held at the CM’s office on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, Jagan said Rs 440 crore has been released for MSMEs and Rs 684 crore for textiles.
Today, YS Jagan’s government has initiated support for small scale industries. The AP CM said 97,423 industrialists have set up MSMEs. And said his government is taking steps to create employment opportunities for 10 lakh people by setting up industries. Mr Jagan reminded that 62% of incentives were given to SC, ST, BC and minorities and 42% to women.
On this occasion, Jagan reminded that the legislation has also been made to give 75% of the jobs in the industries to the locals. In these two and a half years, 68 large and mega industries have been set up. and another 62 large and mega projects will be started soon, he said.
In addition, Bhavanapadu, Machilipatnam, Ramayapatnam greenfield ports are being set up. On this occasion, Jagan clarified that another 9 new fishing harbours will be set up. Ministers Gautam Reddy and Shankara Narayana were present on the occasion.
