The Andhra Pradesh government has once again extended the night curfew in the state to curb the spread of the coronavirus. The authorities have issued the orders of night curfew that would be enforced from 11 PM to 6 AM, until 4th September.
Earlier, the night curfew was imposed between 10 PM-6 AM.
The government officials said legal action would be taken under the Disaster Management Act 2005 against those who did not comply with the rules during curfew.
In Andhra Pradesh, the mortality rate is declining with the Covid-19 cases. The authorities say physical distance should be observed along with masks in public places.
As on 19th August 2021, 15,738 active covid cases in the state and 13,696 died. As per Arogya Andhra, 1,501 new covid cases and 10 deaths have been registered in the last 24 hours.
