Arjun Sarja, a self-proclaimed huge devotee of Lord Hanuman, has financed the construction of a Lord Hanuman temple on a piece of land owned by him in Chennai. The ‘Gentleman’ actor today revealed that the 15-year-old dream project will finally be inaugurated on July 1-2 with a Maha Kumbabhisekam ritual.
“The pandemic has necessitated that the rituals can’t be held with fanfare. So, we have decided to stream the ritual live on my YouTube channel so that Anjaneya Swamy’s devotees can watch it,” the senior actor, who was seen as Vishal’s villain in ‘Abhimanyudu’, said.
The temple is dedicated to the sitting posture of Anjaneya Swamy. The idol is a weighty one and has been made by spending a huge amount of money.
On the work front, Arjun Sarja, contrary to rumours, is not doing Mahesh Babu-Parasuram Petla’s ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’.
