Arundhati Roy trolled for anti-democratic suggestion

Activist and author Arundhati Roy has stated that decision-making in the time of the pandemic has to pass from the Prime Minister of India to a body comprising of members from the ruling and opposition parties, besides health and other experts.

Roy’s suggestion has been seen as inherently anti-democratic. Several Netizens slammed the writer of ‘The God Of Small Things’ for suggesting that a body of unelected politicians and unelectable experts should make decisions and not the PM and his Cabinet.

In her statement, Roy said that Narendra Modi is incapable of decision-making because he is not only not bright but also dangerous as per her.
