Australia to resume flight services from India

It is learned that the Australian government has temporarily banned flights from India in the wake of the corona second wave. The ban ends at midnight today (Friday). Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced that the ban will be lifted from today.

It has been announced that all commercial flights operated by the Australian Government will resume from midnight. He, however, said that there would be a solid inspection before the start of each service. It is known that the ban on air travel between India and Australia came into effect on the 3rd of this month. During that period, Australians returning home from India were also not allowed.

Australian PM Scott Morrison said that passengers will have to return both a negative COVID19 PCR test result and a negative rapid antigen test result before departure.
