‘Chehre’, the Hindi-language film starring Amitabh Bachchan as the protagonist, will hit the cinemas on August 27. The thriller has Rhea Chakraborty, who was last year in the news after the death by suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput, in a key role. Emraan Hashmi is part of the cast.
Directed by Rumi Jafry, the film is touted to be a tight mystery thriller. After ‘Pink’, this is one more film in which Big B will be seen as a lawyer. “You have been warned! Be ready to #FaceTheGame, kyunki yeh ilzaam aap par bhi lag sakta hai (sic),” Bachchan wrote on Twitter.
Also featuring Krystle D’Souza, Annu Kapoor and Dhritiman Chatterjee, ‘Chehre’ is expected to open to a lukewarm response, considering that the Covid situation is not entirely manageable in Maharashtra.
In Telugu, Sudheer Babu-starrer ‘Sridevi Soda Centre’ will arrive at the cinemas on the same date.
