BJP MLAs meet CM BS Yediyurappa over the leadership change in Karnataka

Today, more than 10 MLAs have met Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa amid rumblings of leadership change in the state. The MLAs said that it’s not the right time for infighting in the party while the state was facing the Covid crisis. They wanted to take action against CP Yogeshwar who went to Delhi to complain against CM Yediyurappa. They also vowed to CM that they will stand by him.

The Ramanagara district incharge, Tourism and Environment Minister, CP Yogeshwar met High Command in Delhi and complained about CM Yediyurappa followed by the corruption charges against him and his younger son, Vijayendra and his interference in the decisions taken by the government.  On Thursday, he indirectly referred to Vijayendra and his interference in governance and said that he won’t tolerate anyone interfering in the government’s decisions.

As per daijiworld, The tourism and environment minister clarified that he has no grievances or complaints at not being given a prominent portfolio and entrusted with the responsibility of being Ramanagara district in charge.

Not only him but also CM’s loyalists like M P Renukacharya etc., discontent over involving his son in the party and government’s decisions. With rising discontent in the party, there were speculations mounted of changing leadership in the state. CP Yogeshwar’s last week visit to Delhi has got a lot of significance among the political circles as well as in the own party amid rumblings in the leadership change.
