BJP trolls Rahul Gandhi over Modi’s ‘high approval ratings’

In a survey conducted by Morning Consult, a global tech company, Narendra Modi has emerged as the most popular leader in the world. He enjoys an approval rating of 70% as per the survey.

Soon after the survey findings were revealed, the BJP amplified it and also started trolling the Congress party’s PM aspirant, Rahul Gandhi. On Sunday, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan wrote, “Good morning, Rahul ji. Hope you had a goodnight’s sleep and you didn’t wake up in the morning during middle of the night.”
The survey is receiving wide coverage in the Indian media. “PM Modi is ahead of top world leaders including Joe Biden, Angela Merkel and Boris Johnson,” wrote Hindustan Times, quoting Morning Consult.

Modi’s image took a beating as per a recent India Today survey after the second wave. Despite that, the NDA, as per the poll, was well placed to defeat the UPA if elections were to be held now.
