BKU Leader Rakesh Tikait warns to hold protest at Parliament

For several months, farmers and farmer unions have been protesting against the new farm laws made by the Central government at the Delhi Uttarpradesh border at Ghazipur and demanding to repeal those laws.

Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait said to the ANI that 200 of their people will hold protests near Parliament over this issue from 22nd July onwards.

When asked about taking the new farm bills issue to the United Nations, he responded that they haven’t said of taking up this issue to the UN and said they responded to the question over the incident that happened on 26th January.

Mr Tikait questioned,” Is there any agency here that can conduct an impartial investigation over the 26th Jan incident?”. “If not we would take this matter to the UN”, said BKU leader.

On the other hand, opposition parties in different states have staged protests against the central government over consistently hiking the Petrol and Diesel prices.
