Captain Amarinder Singh to resign from the Congress party

It’s a big blow to the Congress party in Punjab. Captain Amarinder Singh who stepped down as Punjab CM is likely to quit the party. After submitting his resignation, Amarinder Singh said that it’s a humiliation for him who served the party for years and also said to respond at the appropriate time.

Recently, Navjot Singh Sidhu has submitted his resignation for the post of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president and was assured to serve for the party.

Based on the Times Now reports, Captain Amarinder Singh will quit Congress but won’t join the BJP. Yesterday, he met Amit Shah and discussed farmers’ agitation against farm laws.

And there were reports that he met NSA Ajit Doval and submitted some secret documents to him.
