Due to incessant rains in Telangana, several areas in the state have been submerged in water. As per the IMD report, Telangana state is receiving heavy to very heavy rainfall. With this, several districts including Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Jagtial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Sircilla, Kamareddy etc., were kept under red alert.
The state government has sent NDRF teams to Nirmal as the situation there resembles a flood-like situation. Nirmal town is submerged in water. CM KCR who has been closely monitoring the situation with government officials have ordered CS Somesh Kumar to send NDRF teams to Nirmal town. He also instructed CS to take preventive measures on a war footing after possible flooding in Godavari catchment areas due to incessant rains.
