Delhi prepares for third wave, Kejriwal gives an update

Several States in the country have started making preparations for a feared third wave. Whenever it comes, States like Delhi want to be prepared. 

On Wednesday, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that the shortage of medical and paramedical staff witnessed during the first two waves has to be addressed before the third wave. In this regard, about 5000 health assistants will be trained by a University for two weeks. Also, nine major medical institutes will train 5000 youths. 

The trained members will assist both doctors and nurses. Nursing, paramedics, life-saving, first aid and home care will be handled by them.
Anybody who has cleared Class 12 and is above 18 can apply for the posts.
