DGCA extends restrictions on scheduled international passenger flights

Due to the severe covid second wave in the nation, DGCA(Directorate General of Civil Aviation) has cancelled all local and International flights earlier. Later, it eased restrictions on domestic passenger flights.

DGCA has allowed only a few International flights to and fro from India in only specified routed a circular date till 26th June 2020. Now the authority has further extended the validity of a circular issued on the subject cited above regarding scheduled International commercial passenger services to/from India till 23:59hrs IST of 31st July 2021.

It also clearly mentioned that this restriction shall not apply to international all-cargo operations and flights specifically approved by DGCA. However, International scheduled flights may be allowed on selected routes by the competent authority on a case to case basis.
