Don’t trust Wikipedia anymore: Wikipedia co-founder

Larry Sanger, the co-founder of Wikipedia, has said that the open-source platform can’t be trusted. He alleged that Wikipedia has been taken over by Left-leaning editors.

As quoted by several media publications, Sanger said that if a controversy does not appear in the mainstream centre-Left media, then it’s not going to appear on Wikipedia.

In a recent statement, Sanger reportedly gave examples of articles on US President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden giving favourable coverage by Wikipedia.
The co-founder feels that the posts on Wikipedia are written and monitored by paid writers who made it extremely partisan. “The platform no longer provides reliable information and has been turned into a propaganda tool by some users,” he added.
