The Central Government Principal Scientific Advisor K Vijay Raghavan said that precautions must be taken even after the Covid-19 vaccine was taken. He said that wearing a mask, maintaining social distance and exposure to air and light is a must and all these three must be observed. It has been clarified that those who have been vaccinated and those who have not taken must adhere to these three.
He said the measures would help ease the pressure on the health care system at a time when the epidemic is booming. He said it was important to adhere to all three at the individual and collective level. He tweeted on Saturday. The central government has also recently announced that those receiving Covid-19 treatment at home should be in a well-ventilated room. Mr Vijay Raghavan also emphasized this.
Those who take two doses of Covaxin or Covishield are also advised to stay in a room where air and light circulate freely. It is a known fact that the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health say that ordinary people should wear masks even at home.
