First, in IPL history, both RCB and MI are playing for the impossible today

Today is the last day for the league matches. With the KKR and Rajasthan Royals match, the final spot for the playoffs has been lost by Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings.

Only a miracle can take Mumbai Indians to the playoffs. Today is the remarkable day in the IPL history that two matches will be held at the same time.

The match between RCB and DC, MI and SRH will go live from 7:30 PM onwards, which is the first in the IPL history. Besides, both RCB and MI have to achieve impossible to upgrade their positions in the IPL points table.

It is even foolish to think about it. To qualify for playoffs, Mumbai Indians has to beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by a 170-run margin. MI is out of the playoffs if SRH wins the toss and opts to bat first.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore is in the same sort of situation. But it is playing for the second position in the IPL points table. It has to defeat Delhi Capitals with a margin of 163 runs.

Both these results are impossible. As aforementioned, it is foolish to think. As per sports analysts, Delhi Capitals occupy the top spot followed by Chennai Super Kings, RCB and KKR in the points table at the end, before playoffs kick start.
