From biopic to time-travel, Rajamouli’s father is busy with writing

Vijayendra Prasad is back to his prolific self. At a time when ‘Roudram Ranam Rudhiram’ is all set to wrap up its shoot, the ‘Baahubali’ writer has revealed that he is penning three stories these days.

A biopic on Ranjitsinh Disale, a celebrated and feted teacher from Maharashtra, is the first of them. The untitled film will be made in Hindi.

A Hollywood studio has roped him in for a time-travel story. It will be an English-Hindi bilingual with an international release. Probably, the film will be a crossover one, with Hindi and Hollywood actors playing main roles.

Prasad is also writing a semi-mythological film that tells the story from Sita’s perspective. Sita is revered in Hindusim as the ideal woman and wife of Lord Rama.
