Goa resumes Tourism

Due to the Covid-19, the tourism industry in Goa has been badly affected. As the positivity rate in the state has been declining, the government has decided to resume tourism with some restrictions.

It allows all the tourists who are fully vaccinated or carrying a negative RT-PCR report not less than three days. The Goa government is intended to revive its tourism in the state.

In India, still, some states have been under strict vigilance as the Covid-19 positivity rate hasn’t been down below or equivalent to 2%.  Still, most of the areas in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra etc., have been under curfew.

Except for Telugu states, most of the states in India were imposed curfews. In Telugu states, theatres are also opened with full capacity. The Tamil Nadu government will decide about the opening of theatres after the second week of September.

Coming to Haryana, restaurants, gyms, bars, spas are permitted to open with 50% occupancy. And all shops and malls will be opened with social distancing norms. The swimming pools can be opened following the COVID norms.

The government has extended the aforementioned restrictions till 23rd August.
