High Court gives green signal to ZPTC, MPTC counting in AP

The High Court has granted permission for the counting of ZPTC and MPTC in the state. On Thursday, the case of ZPTC and MPTC counting came to a hearing in the High Court. On this occasion, the Divisional Bench of the High Court quashed the judgment of the Single Judge on the Counting.

As per the court orders, the Election Commission will soon begin the counting process. As many as 515 ZPTCs and 7,220 MPTCs in the state went to the polls on April 8 this year.

AP cabinet meeting today:

On Friday, the AP cabinet meeting will be held. This meeting is headed by CM Jaganmohan Reddy at Block one hall in the secretariat. As part of the agenda, a total of 40 articles will be discussed by the Cabinet. Information that several key decisions are likely to be made during this meeting. Two ministers Botsa Satyanarayana and Anil Kumar Yadav were unable to attend the cabinet meeting due to ill health.
