India dominates ICC Test rankings

After the Lord’s Test match, the ICC has announced new Test rankings. In the ICC Top Ten Best Batsman rankings, three Indian batsmen have sealed their spot.

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli was in 5th position with 776 points followed by the Hitman Rohit Sharma with 773 and Rishabh Pant with 736 points. Rohit Sharma was 54th in ICC Test rankings when he becomes the opener and two years later, he is 6th, achieved his highest ever rating and highest-ranked opener as well in the world as per the sports analyst CricCrazy Johns.

Rishabh Pant also becomes the highest-ranked Indian wicket-keeper.  On the other hand, Ravichandran Ashwin has become the highest-ranked spinner. Mr Ashwin ranked no 2 in ICC Test Bowling ranks with 848 points. Australian speedster Pat Cummins tops the list with 908 points.
