India lost its both openers, its time for the middle order to shine in the Oval

The fourth Test match has started here in Oval. After winning the toss, England skipper Joe Root has opted to bowl. Team India made a couple of changes and rested both Shami and Ishant Sharma. In place of them, Shardul Thakur and Umesh Yadav have been roped in.

The English team is also made changes. It included Ollie Pope in for Jos Buttler and Chris Woakes in for Sam Curran. Chris Woakes strikes early by dismissing in-form Rohit Sharma for just 11 runs. Later, Ollie Robinson has struck and sent India’s leading run-scorer in this series KL Rahul for 17 runs.

Now, the responsibility is on middle-order which hasn’t been fired for more than a year. In the last test match, Pujara made 91 runs, which was his highest since 2019. In the first seven overs, England bowlers have given 28 runs with 4 RPO and now they’ve been completely in control and bowling with great discipline. They’re not giving any chance for Indian batsmen to blaze. India is 38/2, Kohli(4) and Pujara(4) are at the crease now.
