India sets a world record in vaccination

According to the Union Ministry of Health, 18 crore people were vaccinated in August. Last month, India vaccinated more than G7 countries. Canada, Britain, America, Italy, Germany, France and Japan are known as the G7 countries.

Of the G7 countries, Canada had the lowest vaccine dose at 30 million, while Japan had the highest dose at 4 million. The vaccination process in India started on June 21 and so far about 68 crore vaccine doses have been given. The central government aims to make the vaccine free to all people by December.

More than 17.47 Lakh (17,47,476) Covid-19 samples were tested in the last 24 hours and 42,766 samples were reported positive.
