India to defend 138 runs to win the WTC final

The final day of the maiden WTC final is exciting. After Kyle Jamieson has dismissed both Kohli and Pujara, again Rishabh Pant’s heroic innings has put up a defendable total of 138 runs.

Team India was 71 for 2 at one stage on Day 5 and lost the next 8 wickets in just 99 runs in the second innings in which Pant scored 41 runs. When India was in trouble after losing Kohli, Pujara, then Pant came and played a brilliant knock under the circumstances. He scored 41 runs from 88 balls including 4 fours.

New Zealand skipper Kani Williamson has made wonderful bowling changes and field placements. His strategy was neatly executed by Kiwi bowlers.

Team India has to defend 138 runs in 53 overs to clinch the inaugural World Test Champion Title 2021.
