Indian cricket players Chahal, Gowtham tested positive

After Krunal Pandya was tested positive before the second T20, nine players who were closely associated with him were put into isolation. With this, the second T20 was postponed to the next day on 28th July.

Both spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Krishnappa Gowtham were among those nine who were close to Krunal. Earlier, all these players have been tested negative. These two spinners tested positive in the second time antigen test.

Both Chahal, Gowtham will stay in Colombo along with Krunal until they will test negative and the rest of the Indian cricket players will fly to India, Today. On the other hand, Surya Kumar Yadav and Prithvi Shaw have to go for quarantine in England. These two were also in isolation after Krunal tested positive. Both SKY and Shaw picked up for the England series as a replacement.
