The first day of the Second Test Match has been stalled temporarily due to the rain at Lord’s Cricket Stadium, London. Indian Skipper Virat Kohli’s bad luck in toss has been continuing.
He lost the toss for the consecutive eighth time against England. English Skipper Joe Root has won the toss and opted for the bowling as the pitch favours bowlers due to the rain especially in the first one hour of the play.
The Indian team has made one change. Injured Shardul Thakur is replaced by the Ishant Sharma. The England team has made three changes in the final eleven as Hameed replaces Crawley, Moeen’s back in place of Lawrence, and Mark Wood replaces the injured Stuart Broad.
