The fourth Test match between India and England at the oval is just another example of how good test cricket is. In the first two days, the ball has dominated the bat except for the last session of the play on Day 2.
The English team is lead by 99 runs in the first innings. Later, Indian openers have played pretty well and put unbeaten 43 at the end of Day’s 2 play. Today is the third day and the Indian batsmen must shine to stay in the competition.
The middle-order woes have been continuing for the team India. Openers and tailenders have been rescuing team India so far for over a year. Especially, tailenders were brilliant and they’ve given historic wins to the team with both ball and bat.
Indian team is 56 runs behind with all ten wickets in hand. It’s important that any one of opening batsman has to play a long innings to lead the series. After the Lord’s defeat, England bowlers have been performing brilliantly. Especially, James Anderson and Ollie Robinson. Now, Chris Woakes has added to them like a fuel to the fire.
Chris Woakes who returned to the team after a year gap has taken four wickets and made a fifty in the oval test.
