Jamsetji Tata biggest philanthropist in a century: Report

Jamsetji Tata has trumped the likes of Bill Gates and Warren Buffet to become the world’s greatest philanthropist in 100 years. A Hurun Report and EdelGive Foundation report has said that the Tata founder donated about $102 billion in his life in terms of the current value of the currency. 

He set aside two-thirds of ownership to trusts, the report said. Tata’s giving started in 1892 itself, it further added.
