For the past few months, there has been political turmoil in Karnataka BJP. Some state BJP leaders have expressed their displeasure over the BS Yediyurappa and his son’s intervention in government-related activities. Some leaders met BJP High command in Delhi in the past. Despite there have been speculations that BJP high command has been removing BS Yediyurappa, the Karnataka CM and his faction has staunchly said that these are all to create turmoil in the party.
Mr Yediyurappa has changed the tone and said that he would adhere to the decision of the high command after he met BJP National Secretary JP Nadda and Amit Shah, recently. Amid talks of leadership change, his son BJ Vijayendra met high command in Delhi on Saturday. His meeting with BJP high command has become a hot topic in Karnataka political circles now.
Mr Yediyurappa will complete two years as Karnataka CM on 26th July and expecting a major decision from the big heads of the BJP. About the leadership change, the Karnataka CM has said that he didn’t suggest any names to the high command after his exit. Until then he will receive instructions from the BJP high command, Yediyurappa said that he won’t resign.
On the other hand, Dingaleshwara Swami of Balehosur Mutt has said to the ANI that they(all seers of the Lingayat community) will hold a convention and discuss the current situation in Karnataka.
