Karnataka makes negative RT-PCR report mandatory to enter into the state

The Karnataka state government has made RT-PCT negative report mandatory to enter into their state. Especially, those who travel from Maharashtra and Kerala must carry a negative RT-PCR report which is not older than three days.

It is a must to carry even though inoculated. This applies to all passengers who travel by road, rail, and air. Even personal transport also need to carry the negative RT-PCR certificate. Only, the Health workers and toddlers were exempted.

The airlines will issue a boarding pass only after passengers submit his/her negative RT-PCR report.  And the rail and road transport authorities must be responsible to make passengers carry the negative certificate.

The Karnataka government ordered the deputy commissioners to establish check-posts at the borders of Kerala-Karnataka and Karnataka-Maharashtra and also ordered to allow those in the state who carry negative RT-PCR certificates.
