The state government is taking steps to enforce the Dalit Bandhu scheme in Telangana. It was taken another step to support every Dalit. It was known that the Telangana government selected Huzurabad under a pilot project and it led to political criticism of the TRS government.
In this context, the CM KCR recently added four more zones under the pilot project and put an end to criticism. On Monday, Chief Minister KCR held a preparatory meeting at Pragati Bhavan on the implementation of the Dalit Bandhu Scheme. The Telangana government has decided to implement Dalit Bandhu across the state on the lines of Huzurabad. As part of this, the government has decided to implement Dalit Bandhu in four more zones across the state, including Huzurabad and Vasalamarri, which have been fully provided to the beneficiaries.
The government has decided to apply Dalit Bandhu Scheme in four constituencies represented by Dalit MLAs in Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, Nizamabad and Khammam districts.
