KL Rahul becomes the 4th Indian to achieve this feat

Indian opener KL Rahul has achieved a milestone in yesterday’s match against Scotland. He became the second Indian to score the fastest fifty in the T20 World Cup after Yuvraj Singh.

KL Rahul scored 50 runs in just 18 balls whereas Yuvraj in just 16 balls. And KL Rahul’s fifty is the fastest in the T20 World Cup 2021.

He also became the fourth Indian batsman to score back to back fifties in the T20 world cup after Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli achieved this feat twice whereas Gauti and Yuvi did once. Post Scotland match, KL Rahul said on the ICC website that his dream is to win the world cup for the country.
