‘Maha Samudram’ to pay a ‘massy tribute’ to Rambha

Rambha was one of the most important female stars in the country in the 1990s. Her films with the likes of Chiranjeevi enjoyed a great deal of craze among the masses.
The news is that ‘Maha Samudram’ features a song dedicated to Rambha’s stardom. The song ‘Hey Ramba’ will be released tomorrow at 10:08 AM.

The Sharwanand-Siddharth movie is partly set in the 1990s. Director Ajay Bhupathi seems to have used the “massy tribute” as a narrative device to establish the mood of the time.

Starring Aditi Rao Hydari and Anu Emmanuel as the heroines, ‘Maha Samudram’ has music by Chaitan Bharadwaj. The special song, which will be released on August 6, is titled ‘Hey Rambha Rambha’.

The film, produced by Anil Sunkara, completed its shoot recently.
