Maharashtra government issues fresh orders in the wake of Delta plus variant of Covid-19

After the Karnataka government has announced that they have identified two Delta plus variants in the state, now it seems Maharashtra. In Maharashtra, twenty-one Delta plus covid-19 variant cases have been reported from Ratnagiri, Jalgaon, Mumbai, Palghar, Sindhudurg and Thane.

With the rising of Delta plus Covid-19 variant cases in the state, the Maharashtra government has ordered to maintain minimum LEVEL 3 restrictions. It was known that the five-level unlock process has been implemented in the state based on the severity of Covid-19 positivity.

Normally, the districts which were under LEVEL 1 and 2 had opened up malls, cinema theatres etc., As per the fresh orders,  Malls, theatres, etc. to continue remaining shut across Maharashtra including the districts under Level 1 and Level 2.

All non-essential activities including restaurants, shops, businesses allowed only till 4 PM.
