Mega camp producer writes a letter to Google CEO

Bunny Vasu, who heads GA2 Pictures and is a close confidante of Allu Arjun, has penned an open letter to Google CEO Sundar Pichai. In his letter, Vasu lamented that the Internet has made it easy to defame celebs.

Vasu, who is known for hits like ‘Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy’ and ‘Prati Roju Pandage’, wrote that he and his daughter have had to undergo a lot of mental trauma because of toxic trolling on social media. “A Netizen made a video against us and even threatened to eliminate my daughter. I had to move heaven and earth to get such derogatory videos removed. If someone like me, who is an influential person in the film industry had to go through such a scenario, you can imagine the plight faced by ordinary people,” Vasu asked in the open letter.

He suggested that the abuse of the freedom of expression on the Internet is making life hard for celebs. “In the past, one had to work really hard to defame someone. In the age of the Internet, it can be done just like that. You can just morph a picture or make false allegations,” Vasu wrote.
