Mr Konidela Siva Prasad was introduced to the world as an actor for the first time on the same day 43 years ago. Later, with his passion, commitment and hard work emerged as the box office emperor Megastar Chiranjeevi amid the tough competition of Legends Late NTR, ANR, Shoban Babu, and the living legend Evergreen Superstar Krishna.
Even though Megastar Chiranjeevi’s first film was ‘Punadhi Rallu’ as an actor but the first released was ‘Pranam Khareedu’ on 22nd September 1978. The movie lovers witnessed the arrival of Megastar on the big screen with ‘Pranam Khareedu’.
His journey was inspiring. And he proved the world that Telugu film was bigger than Hindi films with Legendary director K Raghavendra Rao’s Gharana Mogudu. It collected huge at the box office which was the highest in India.
And he was lauded as India Today by bigger than Amitabh Bachchan. He was the first who took in India who had taken one crore remuneration.
The man is still conquering the box office. Today, Megastar Chiranjeevi recollected his birth as an actor 43 years ago and thanked crores of fans for their unflinching love.
