Software giant Microsoft is planning to set up a specialized data centre in Hyderabad soon. In this regard, the final round of talks will be held with the Telangana government.
After discussions come to an end, Microsoft will officially announce the establishment of the data centre. However, the estimated cost of the specialized data centre will be Rs 15,000 crores.
It is learned that Microsoft has set up a joint venture in India with Brookfield Infrastructure. Now it is going to set up this company under the name of BAM Digital Realty.
Both Brookfield and BAM Digital Realty are listed on the New York Stock Exchange. It oversees the infrastructure needed to build data centres for different software companies around the world.
