Former Karnataka Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah has criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s brand for failing to deliver on his promises. He noted that many states were reluctant to start the third phase of vaccination due to the shortage of the Covid vaccine. He demanded an apology from the Prime Minister for failing to keep his promises.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is unnecessarily appearing on TV and misleading the country. He promised the youth that vaccination would be available from May 1. But the states are not ready with the vaccine. Will the Prime Minister take responsibility for this? Modi should apologize and resign, ”Siddaramaiah said in a tweet.
For failing to keep up his promise, Prime Minister Modi has to come back on TV and demanded an apology to the youth and the people of the nation and request them to wait for some more days. He criticized the PM for blaming and making states responsible for his faults. According to the Department of Health, 2.45 crore beneficiaries registered for the Phase-3 vaccine drive on the CoWIN portal by 9.30 pm on Friday.
