Nani hopes Bollywood superstar might remake ‘Shyam Singha Roy’

‘Shyam Singha Roy’, which is directed by Rahul Sankrityan, will hit the cinemas on December 24. Starring Nani and Sai Pallavi, its first song was released the other day. Titled ‘The Rise of Shyam Singha Roy’, it is composed by Mickey J Meyer and rendered by Shankar Mahadevan.

Ahead of the release of the period drama, the ‘Jersey’ actor has expressed confidence in the material of the movie. While ‘SSR’ will be released in all major South Indian languages, it won’t have a release in Hindi. Nani suggests that some Bollywood actor might reprise him in a Hindi remake. And he hints that someone of the stature of Hrithik Roshan might be interested to do it.

Nani’s ‘Jersey’ has been remade in Hindi with Shahid Kapoor as the hero.
