NCP chief Sharad Pawar met PM Modi

Today, NCP chief Sharad Pawar met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After meeting Piyush Goyal at his residence followed by an official visit to Rajnath Singh, he has met PM Modi. And this meeting has lasted 50 minutes.

The monsoon parliament sessions are set to begin on the 19th of this month. In this context, the ruling party is in meeting with the opposition leaders to ensure that the sessions run smoothly. On the other hand, the meeting between Pawar and Modi was of utmost importance in the backdrop of the campaign that Sharad Pawar’s name was being considered as the presidential candidate.

NCP supremo Sharad Pawar dismissed rumours of his candidature for the presidential election and said that it’s absolutely false that I will be a candidate for the Presidential election. I know what will be the result, given the BJP-led NDA has more than 300 MPs in Parliament.

Sharad Pawar is the right candidate to take on PM Modi in the 2024 elections.

NCP leader Nawab Malik thrashed the rumours that opposition leaders met Sharad Pawar in Delhi.
