The Firozabad district administration in Uttar Pradesh has recently introduced a new rule to set employees on track who are reluctant to take the corona vaccine. Accordingly, the authorities will stop paying monthly salaries to government employees who do not agree to be vaccinated.
On Wednesday, Chief Development Officer Charchit Gaur said that District Magistrate Chandra Vijay Singh had verbally directed the authorities to implement the new rule. It was clarified that a departmental inquiry would be held against the employees who were reluctant to take Covid jabs and they would stop paying the salary for that month. To this extent, the district treasurer and the superiors leading the various departments have already been instructed.
The official also said that the rule was having an effect and that many employees were ready to be vaccinated.
