Night curfew extends in Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh government has extended the night curfew to 14th August. Due to the second wave, YS Jagan’s government has implemented a curfew in the state and its been consistently easing restrictions based on the Covid positivity rate.

The no. of. daily covid cases in the state are still registering more than 2K. In this regard,  AP Principal Health Secretary Anil Kumar has issued the orders of extending the night curfew till 14th August from 10 PM-6 AM.

In AP, 2,107 Covid cases have been registered in the past 24 hours and 20 died. 1,807 were discharged. A total of 78,784 samples have been tested in 24 hours. In the state, so far 2,44,03,410 samples were tested. 19,59,154 Covid positive cases were registered; 19,25,543 were discharged and 13,332 were deceased. Total active cases in Andhra were 21,279.

This decision will become a lump in the throat of Tollywood. And the medium, big-budget films’ have to wait till 14th August to decide on the release.
