Actor Nikhil Siddhartha today raised a question on Twitter. Echoing a chief concern of the common man, the ‘Arjun Suravaram’ actor said that a litre of petrol or diesel is costing a bomb because of the central and state taxes. He requested the governments to reduce the taxes and ease the burden on the consumer.
“Why Is this happening? 35 rs Per litre Petrol / Diesel is Costing us 100 Rs plus at the Fuel Pump. The Central & State Taxes on Fuel Must be reduced. Sincere Request on behalf of every person suffering from this,” the ‘Kirrak Party’ actor tweeted.
In June, the ’18 Pages’ actor urged the state government to take action against private hospitals that have been charging excessively for covid treatment.
The actor is also doing ‘Karthikeya 2′, which is directed by Chandoo Mondeti. ’18 Pages’ is directed by Palanati Surya Pratap.
