In India, Karnataka is one of the states that was badly hit by the Corona second wave. As the number of Covid cases hasn’t declined, the government has extended its lockdown. Now, in the state, there has been some improvement in the situation.
But there were complaints too on the scarcity of Black Fungus medicines and ventilators. After interacting with the health officials and ministers, Karnataka CM BS Yedyurappa said that few ventilators needed to be repaired and they will be used at the earliest after repairing them.
Coming to Black drug medicines, the Karnataka CM said that they had few complaints from some public representatives that there were no Black Fungus drugs. He said that he spoke to Union Minister Sadananda Gowda and they will get the Black Fungus drugs at the earliest.
Based on the ANI, Mr Yedyurappa said that there are no plans to extend the lockdown in the state. But they will decide in the meeting which will be held on 5th June.
It was known that lockdown was extended till the first week of June after noticing the change in the situation.
